My internship experience at Telkom Akses Semarang

Hi Besties, Kheisya is here with her first blog. In this occasion I'm gonna share my experiences being an apprentice at Telkom Akses Semarang. I will use English language in this blog because it's a task from Ma'am Yuni—my English teacher. I used Google Translate for translating some words that I forgot. For the grammar, I didn't used any tools, I just wrote this with my knowledge and instincts hehe. So please, let me know if there's some mistakes with the language.

On January 3rd 2022, I started my internship program at Telkom Akses Singotoro. On my first day, I got there on 07.48 am and met my 5 other friends. We waited there until 09.00 am until finally one of the workers gave us some directions. Me, my friends, and some students from another school were gathered in a room to be divided into areas and departments. My friends— Dini, Frilio, and Rizky were stationed in Telkom Akses Banyumanik while my other 2 friends— Afifah and Rahma were stationed in Telkom Akses Jatingaleh. Me, myself were stationed in Telkom Akses Singotoro on Human Capital Management department.

Human Capital Management (HCM) is a department in charge of recruitments, training and development, payroll, and things that refers to human resources. In this department, I don’t have a main job like my other friends has. I only did what my superiors told me to. Like processing data, learning the Indihome WiFi installation technics, making tea or coffee, even making some dancing Instagram reels— Mr. Faisal said this is to show people that internship at Telkom Akses is fun. One time, me and my friends were told to clean the room in exchange to watch KKN Di Desa Penari movie on theatre. My superiors also often buys me and my friends lunch. On Ramadhan, we were invited to Iftar together at Kampung Laut. We even also got Ramadhan allowance from them.

On my internship days, I often has nothing to do. In that period of time, I usually told to play some movie on the smart television. I also often played Call Of Duty mobile game with Mr. Faisal and Mr. Bagas— we still do this until now. Of course there were some bad memories, but the good memories are a lot more so I still think my internship at Telkom Akses is so much fun. My superiors are so nice to us the apprentice, they’ve never show off to us. Instead, they teach us so many things that we can’t get from anywhere else. I’m so grateful I did my internship there, I wish I were there longer.

So, how was it Besties? Did I do great or just okay? Or maybe it's bad? Please give me your thoughts about my writing on the comment sections. It'll help me improve so much. You can also share your experiences on the comment section, I'll definitely read it. Thank you for spending your a little bit of time with me, see you on my next blog!!
